Module 03

PLC software, control panels and technology diagrams from a single technical description.

From the documents, AI draws control panel schematics, programs the PLC and builds a complete, working BMS connected to the generated software. Everything comes from one technical description of the equipment, signals carry the same tags from drawing to visualisation, and after a design change everything is regenerated without manual redrawing.

What you get

A result, not a list of features.

01

Much shorter programming

Code comes from templates and verified libraries, not from scratch. The engineer checks and approves.

02

Fewer commissioning errors

Points, tags and sequences are checked before start-up, not during it.

03

Design changes without stress

New document, new generation. Drawings, code and diagrams stay consistent.

Three tools, one technology description

Three tools, one technology description.

You describe the equipment once. From that description come the software, the panel drawing and the technology diagram with the same tags.

01

PLC Software

AI creates the PLC program from the technology description of the equipment: code to the IEC 61131-3 standard (Structured Text), e.g. for CoDeSys, for air-handling units and other systems. Control functions, control loops, fault states and points for the supervisory system are assembled from verified libraries. Deterministic functions, engineer approval before deployment.

02

FluxPlan

AI draws the control panel from the documents: sheet drawings, power supply, I/O, network, panel door with switches and indicator lights. Drawing check, bill of materials and price from manufacturer price lists. Designer comments during generation, large panels in continuation rounds.

03

TechSchema

AI draws technology diagrams of boiler rooms, heat substations, heating and cooling distribution, chillers and HVAC from the design documentation, animates them and connects them to the PLC. The same diagrams with live data form the Capitanier BMS screens.

How it is carried out

Four steps, no surprises.

Technical description

From the register or from the documents: equipment, parameters, control requirements.

Generation

Panels in FluxPlan, PLC code from libraries, diagrams in TechSchema. Same tags everywhere.

Engineer check

Unlock, comment, approve sheets. Every change is logged.

Output

PDF and SVG drawings, bill of materials, code ready to load into the PLC, diagrams for the BMS.

Frequently asked questions

The most frequent questions.

For which PLCs?+
For any PLC with full IEC 61131-3 Structured Text support: Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, CODESYS-based platforms (WAGO, DEOS, Exor, Eurotherm, Schneider Modicon), Phoenix Contact PLCnext, ABB AC500, Teco Mosaic, Unipi Mervis, Domat Merbon, LOYTEC, B&R, SIGMATEK, SBC, Eliwell, Elsist, Pixsys and others. Systems without ST (Trend, Cylon, Niagara, SpaceLogic, Distech, iSMA, Sauter, Siemens Desigo, Carel) require a translator into their proprietary blocks. The country-by-country overview is on the PLC Software page. The overview of platforms and buses is on the PLC Software page.
Can I use my own panel standards?+
Yes. The block library and drawing rules are adapted to the customer's standard.
Who is responsible for the code?+
The engineer who approves it. AI prepares the proposal; deterministic functions come from approved libraries.
